Chemical Peels

Chemical peels help to revitalize and rejuvenate the skin to give a fresher and more youthful appearance, also removing fine lines and wrinkles, pigmentation, acne and acne scarring.

This involves the application of a chemical solution to the surface of the skin to carefully remove its outer layers. The amount of skin removed will depend on the type of chemical used, the strength of the product and how long it is left on the skin.

Medium strength peels
Improve wrinkles and help reduce acne scars and blotches, following a course of treatments and with the use of the daily skin care regime, your skin firms up due to the production of your own natural collagen, giving you a long term improvement in your complexion.

Skin rejuvenation
The mene and moy chemical peel range, in combination with special at home skin care creams, can treat various skin conditions and disorders.

They can be used to freshen up the skin and can help to eliminate acne, rosacea, fine lines, wrinkles, photo damage, rough texture and ageing skin, acne and acne scarring, can also treat stretch marks and melasma.

It is recommended that a course of 6-8 peels are undertaken, spaced by 12-15 days apart.

Thereafter, with most peel products, repeat treatments of every 3-6 months will be required to maintain the appearance of the skin and the home care range continued.

Skin de-pigmentation
Innovation Concept Peel (ICP)
For use on the face, neck, chest, hands and body, not suitable for all skin types/colours ICP is a suitable treatment for photoageing (sun damaged skin) and an effective de-pigmentation treatment recommended for treatments monthly and requires no initial skin preparation. ICP improves and prololngs skin quality. For all other peels we use sesderma products.

Results

• Are quick and can be seen within 5 days. The skin remains intact, no brown or scaly stage. The procedure is not painful. Slight redness to the skin may be seen following treatments, mineral make-up (also available) maybe worn at all times.

The cost
All costs will be discussed during initial consultation with all clients during which an individual treatment plan will be agreed.

Chemical peels - £500 for a course of 6 including home skin care regime for use during the treatment.

Maintence peel £100
